So, you went down to the big Chain Store and bought a new desktop or laptop. 

You paid for every option and even had the in-store techs check it out and load the new software.  You paid for the extended warrenty and all the official software.

And then you get home....

Suddenly that Chain Store doesnt seem interested in you.  They cant even answer simple questions on the phone. (Most times you cant get a human on the phone.)

By this point you are really angry.  You load the new computer and accessories in the car and drive back across town to the Chain Store.

After a few hours of searching for help and talking to managers... you still dont have a working laptop AND they tell you it cant be returned to them.

Ouch.

Sadly you are not alone.  This is the experiance for most people purchasing a computer these days.

What can you do about all this ? 

Just remember when you purchase a computer DO NOT GET the EXTENDED WARRENTY, do not get the fanciest model, get XP Professional on the computer if you can and to do your research before you go into the store.
