What if 'Skynet' as depicted in the Terminator movie series came online today ? Is it even possible ??
Sadly it already exists. Minus the 'self awareness.'

The Computer Dudes over the last decade have developed their own 'skynet' or more properly a CloudNet.

A CloudNet uses the internet, or any series of computers as its home. The benefit is massive redundancy and an almost failproof supercomputer. The more 'nodes' (computers) the more powerful the CloudNet.

Computer Dudes now has 3 such Cloudnets. One for general number crunching and running simulations, one for our main website, and the last for internal project "Darkstar."

Darkstar was partially designed to detect, gather information on and fight other CloudNets and DDOS attacks.

To answer your question: The Computer Dudes, Inc are ready to knock Skynet down before John Conner has to. If not, another friend of ours has developed an EMP 'cannon' that would Fry any Terminator 1000 model, tank, aircraft or even a Skynet data center.

According to some of the net news Twitter and FaceBook are under Denial of Service Attack so that is why the response is slow and erratic, it will be resolved soon.

Global router statistics for all of se asia is at about double its normal response time for this time of day.
